PTT 65!!

Good Morning!!!!!!! It's Tuesday, one of my favorite days of the week, because I get to see all your gorgeous projects! Today, over at Party Time Tuesdays we have our ANYTHING GOES challenge. BUT we have a small twist this week,,,,,,,,,,,the challenge THIS week is ANYTHING GOES WITH KRAFT paper!

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, our month long sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps, and our weekly sponsors Kraft Outlet, who provided us with some lovely kraft paper, and other goodies to make our cards with, and Crafty Sentiments, whom we have had the pleasure of having yet again at Party Time Tuesdays! Thank you so much to all our generous sponsors!

This week, the Party Planners are honoring one of our own, Party Planner Jen Skull with a card. I hope she enjoys the card I made for her!

And here it is!

I twisted this card a bit and used the sentiment on the OUTSIDE and the main image on the INSIDE,,,,,

Isn't that library card holder just the cutest thing??? It was supplied by our sponsor this week, Kraft Outlet. I colored the Bugaboo image with copics, cut it out with circles large and popped it up on the library card holder with pop dots, adding a sheer bow.

I decided to make the library card into a little mini book for Jen! So I cut it with Romantic Rectangles for the cover of the mini, and then cut the other kraft and cream papers given to us by Kraft outlet for the inner  pages, which I filled with upbeat and inspirational quotes! It slips right inside the library card holder inside the card for mailing.

Here is the mini, fanned so you can see how I put it together,,,,,,,,

I do hope you enjoyed this little card, and thanks for looking,,,,,,,,run right over to PTT and upload your Anything Goes with Kraft paper project! Just one note, however, it's pretty impossible for the Party Planners to comment on the number of entries we receive during our Anything Goes challenge every month,,,so as much as we love them (and we do love them!), it's just impossible,,,,,,,,,,we hope you understand! Please know we love looking at them!!!!!!!!!

Sugar Creek Hollow!!!!!!

Good Morning!!!! I am so hoping you will join us this week for the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge, because I am so excited about it,,,,,,

one of my favorite types of cards, that frankly, I do not make often enough!

This week's challenge is,,,,,,,,,,

FANCY FOLDS!!!!!!!!!

Please make a card that is NOT the ordinary one side or top fold card! Come on, fancy it up a bit! You're that talented, and we know it!

Here's mine!

I made this card for a friend whom I love very much, and miss very much back home in Massachusetts. As you can see, it's an easel card, so easy to make, yet so fancy and pretty!

I cut the base of the card with Grand Labels 23 as well as the image out of the DCWV paper,,,,then I added an Inkadinkadoo stamp that said exactly what I wanted to say to my friend!

the larger roses are handmade with  spellbinders dies and the smaller roses are made with MFT rolled mini roses dies. I glued a button behind the roses to stop the front from sliding into the roses.

such an easy card! And I hope my friend likes it!

Thanks for looking,,,,,,,,,now get to it, because we KNOW how talented our friends are! Upload your Fancy Fold card to SCH and you might win a prize!!!!!!

Camp Back Yard!!!!!!

So this past weekend, we had the grands over,,,,,,,,,they wanted to "camp" in the new camper, and a dry run is ALWAYS a good idea,,,,,,,

what I learned is,,,,,,,,

contrary to what my husband thought,,,,,,,,,FOURTEEN FEET IS NOT LARGE ENOUGH WITH TWO CHILDREN!!!!!!

Yeah, and I was the one who wanted SMALLER. Allrightythen,,,,,,,,

I got some awesome pics of them playing monopoly,,,,,,,,,,at a REAL camp ground (Informed my grandson) there would be LOTS to do!LOL, but we enjoyed monopoly anyway!

without further ado,,,,,,,,,my gorgeous grand children,,,,,,,,,,,

(and for those who might wonder, that yellow thing in my grandson, Michael's, ear is the ear piece to  a hearing aid. He is profoundly deaf in one ear and the ear with a hearing aid has a "serious" hearing loss of about 80 db.)

Here Michael is taking his turn, and Angie is hoping he lands on her property.

Agonizing over whether or not she should make a deal with Uncle Nick or not.

WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER! he landed on parking and won the pot in the middle!

The child should model,,,,,,,,,,she's known how to strike a pose since she was six months old.

showing how much they like camping in the camper.  And would probably like it even more with smores,,,,,,so they say.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of my babies,,,,,,,,they are my joy.

So without further ado, here is my darling card made with Bugaboo stamps! Isn't she just DARLING??

I am just LOVING this card,,,I have no idea who I am going to give it to, so I left it without a sentiment at this time, but I can always add one later.

She is so precious!

I colored her with copics, and cut her out with Circles large, then matted her with picot edge circles. Behind that, I cut a green piece of paper from my scrap pile with Romantic Rectangles, sprayed a white heart doily pink, a few flowers, a lace bow and a couple pearls, and such a sweet card for next to no effort!

Here's a close up of this darling stamp from Bugaboo,,,,,,

Happy Saturday!!!!!! Sugar Creek Hollow!

I am so excited this week! Sugar Creek Hollow has a DIE CUTS/Punches challenge for you this week! YAY, I love die cuts,,,,,,I love Sugar Creek Hollow,,,,,,,,

ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I love Sassy Cheryl, who is our amazing sponsor this week!!!!!!

Her images are darling! I used to do her challenges all the time, but with starting my own business and being on TWO design teams, I just haven't had time recently,,,,,but as soon as my business is off and running, I plan to go back and play some with the Sassy girls!

Anywho, Cheryl was so kind to give each of the DT girls an image to play with,,,,,,,THANK YOU CHERYL!!!!!! You can find Cheryl's amazing digis HERE!

Here's my card!

I made a shaped card with my spellbinders Grand labels 23, and loaded it with die cuts.

Some of the dies I used are:

Eyelet Pendants (I thought these looked like sand dollars!)
rectangles long.
Romantic Rectangles
Labels 23
Banner basics 1
circles large
ovals large

I used plain red and blue card stock to create my card, and then Webster's papers "By the Sea", I believe it's called, to create my card. I colored the image with copics, and I think they look ADORABLE! I also used a Tim Holtz embossing folder . I'm pretty happy with it!

So run right over to Sassy Cheryl's shop  and get yourself a darling image, and then hop on over to Sugar Creek Hollow and upload your die cut and/or punches card!

Just one more note,,,,,,Sugar Creek Hollow is having a Design Team call! Check it out HERE!

Just a Card!

Oh boy, have I had a busy week! A couple weeks ago, DH and I bought a camper, the pop up kind. Used,,,,,,,,,and in fantastic shape. Of course, once you start PUPping, it's a disease,,,,,,,,ask anyone who does LOL. We HAD TO HAVE a larger tow vehicle. Yep, as soon as we bought it, we realized the minivan would have a tough time towing it with a full van of people and several hundred (if not a thousand) pounds of gear inside. Since DH needed a new car anyway, out we went to buy a pick up truck with an extended cab for him.

If I live to be 200, I will NEVER understand men! He did nothing but talk about, look at, google pick up trucks for a week!!!!!!

What did he buy?????????? A FORD EXPEDITION!

Maybe that's not so far off,,,,,it IS made on a Ford F150 (truck) frame. All I know is the man LOVES his new truck LOL, so I guess that's all that matters! We'll see how much he likes it as the gas prices increase LOL.

So, anyhow, I've been busy this week looking for and buying DH's new truck,,and buying things (mostly storage) for the camper,,,,,,,,,storage for dry foods, storage for clothing when we're camping and storage for a cooking kit (pots, pans, dishes, etc),,,,,,,,,,and storage for a home made first aid kit (I want to include items for the removal and treatment of jellyfish stings that do not come in most first aid kids, as we will be camping at the beach at least several times a season).

to say the least,,,,,,,,I've had little crafting time this week! But I did manage to throw together this card,,,,,,

From bottom to top, the nesties used to create this focal point are:

Labels 23 Grand
picot edge circles
Iron work motifs
Parisian motifs
Circles Large

The stamp in the center is Justrite, and I've fancied it up with a small bling flourish, some stick pins, and a bow made from navy blue sheer ribbon topped with white seam binding.

I hope you like the card, and thanks for looking! Tomorrow night, I am sleeping in the camper with my grand children for a  "Camp Backyard" experience! It should be fun for them,,,,,,and useful for us to provide practice on setting it up and breaking it down!

Have a lovely weekend! My Sugar Creek Hollow post will be tomorrow morning!

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge 63!

Good Morning! It's Tuesday and one of my favorite days of the week! It's time to see what Party Time Tuesdays has in store for a challenge for us,,,,,,,,

and it's a good one this time! WATER! We want to see your WATER themed projects!

Our fabulous sponsor this whole month is Bugaboo Stamps and DTS Arts! They so generously provided the images that the DT turned into fabulous cards and projects!

Without further ado, here's my card, with an image by Bugaboo,,,,,,,,,,and papers by 3 Bugs in a Rug, our sponsor for this week!

I just love this darling image,,,,,,,,,the papers were so bright and cheery too, that I did the whole thing in shades of orange with aqua, green and blue as points of color.  I colored the image with copics, and cut it out with Ovals large,,,,,,,then matted that with Lacey ovals,,,,,and added a decorative element with spellbinders Ironwork Motifs.

A bow, a sentiment stamp, and she's all finished!

I hope you enjoyed the card, and thanks for looking! Run right over to Party Time Tuesdays to upload your water themed card or paper project!

such an easy little box for a gift, jewelry or something small,,even a gift card would fit in here!
